Rare leopard pair discovered in Quetta National Park
A pair of rare leopards have been spotted in Hazar Ganji Chilton National Park on the outskirts of Quetta.
According to details, Chief Conservator Wildlife Balochistan Sharifuddin Baloch while talking to media said that the endangered pair of endangered leopards were spotted by the guards of Forest Department in Chaltan Park and immediately saved from the eye of the camera.
Hazar Ganji Chilton National Park is located about 20 km southwest of Quetta and covers an area of 27,421 hectares.
Administratively, the two districts fall within the boundaries of Quetta and Mastung. According to Chief Conservator of Wildlife, Hazar Ganji Park is also home to two endangered species of Markhor and mountain goat
The park has so far found 106 species of birds, 18 species of mammals and 125 species of plants and trees.
